Tennis is a sport for all ages and it’s never too late to learn or play for the fun and health of it! At WVIT we offer programs for those adults new to the game as well as for those who have been playing forever!
NEW PLAYER CLINIC - REGISTER HERE
Learn tennis in a group format, have fun, make friends and get some exercise as well! We guarantee that you will learn the fundamentals of hitting the ball, the basics of the game and how to keep score all while having a great time! Classes are 90 minutes.
DRILL AND PLAY - REGISTER HERE
A fun drill to improve your strokes and strategy. Drill consists of 45 minutes of drills followed by 45 minutes of supervised play. Improve your game with friends and get a great workout! Classes are 90 minutes.
INTERMEDIATE DRILL - REGISTER HERE
This program will push your skills to the next level and get your heart pumping. Live ball drills and lots of point play opportunities await you! Classes are 90 minutes.
LIVE BALL DRILL - REGISTER HERE
Fast paced drill focuses on getting a lot of touches on the ball. Class primarily uses cooperative hitting to groove strokes and ends with competitive point play. Drill is for 3.5 and up. Come and get a great work out all while improving your game!
ADVANCED DRILL - REGISTER HERE
This is a high intensity drill for 4.5+ adults and college level players. Class uses live ball drills and cooperative rallying to work on technique, fitness and shot selection. Classes are 90 minutes.
CARDIO TENNIS - REGISTER HERE
Cardio Tennis is a fun group session for all looking to burn calories while training for tennis. Most women can burn between 300-500 calories & most men can burn 500-1000 calories. Classes are 1 hour.
LEAGUE PLAY - REGISTER HERE
Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Flex Leagues are offered for both Men and Women of varying levels. Join one of our leagues to challenge yourself against other players of similar levels, meet new people and have fun while decreasing stress and getting exercise! Leagues are eight weeks long, tennis balls are included for each match.
PICKLEBALL!! - REGISTER HERE
Pickleball is a paddle sport (similar to a racquet sport) that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a Wiffle Ball, over a net. Come to WVIT and play the fastest growing sport in the USA! Wednesdays 1-3pm All Levels.
